Steve Payne is an experienced Consultant having worked for
34 years within the electronics industry, holding a variety of
senior management positions. His speciality has been within high
technology industries, specialising in electronic interconnection.
He spent 19 years with GEC Marconi, managing their PCB manufacturing
division for 10 years. After holding positions with Ceiba Geigy
and Kam Circuits, he founded Cirflex Technology in 1995 to provide
management and technical consultancy to the Electronics Industry.
His experience includes business development programmes for flexible
circuits, electronic materials and equipment; in addition to
product research and development, technology transfer and exploitation
of new technologies. He has implemented and managed UK and EU
sponsored R&D projects.
The current Chairman and Fellow of
the Institute of Circuit Technology; in 1999 he was awarded a
Winston Churchill Fellowship to study new and emerging printed
circuit and flexible circuit technologies in Japan, USA and Europe.
Steve has a wealth of experience across European business cultures
and works with organisations in North America and the Far East.
He is well qualified and experienced to communicate effectively
with all levels of an organisation, to implement change and skills
transfer. He has provided consultancy services to SME’s
through to blue chip organisations, and undertaken technical
due diligence for capital investment institutions.

Tim Meehan has over 35 years of experience
ranging from mechanical and nuclear engineering operations with
the US Navy; to financial, marketing, sales and strategic planning
positions at Standard Oil Company, Chomerics and Raychem Corporation;
to consulting/independent adviser positions with material and
equipment suppliers to the flexible circuit, electronic interconnect
and packaging markets.
He has specific experience conducting
market research, developing strategic and operating plans and
managing sales programs for organisations including Flex Products
Inc., Southwall Technologies, Courtaulds Performance Films, IBM
Microelectronics, International Flex Technology, and Fractal
AG.and Park Nelco.
Tim was a founder of International Flex Technology,
where he was Executive Vice President of Business Development.
Tim has a BS in Mechanical Engineering (US Naval Academy) and
a MBA in Finance (Indiana University).
